Perfect Match Blog Hop

Welcome to the Perfect Match Blog Hop!  Today, you could have arrived here from Becca’s blog, or you could have started here.  Either way, you will get a chance to see everyone’s work, since it’s a big circle!  Should you get lost along the way, Melissa has the whole hop linked on her blog as well.

Now, if you have been following my blog this last month, you will know that today I should have  a card with the STOM and the Sweet Safari paper packet.  Well, good news for you, you get a two-fer!  Same card design, with a couple of tweaks, one with Perfect Match, and one with Sweet Safari!  It’s a Win Win for you!

This card is so adorable!  You can’t see the “you” nor the hearts very well.  (one of the downsides of a light ink in a not quite bright enough photo spot!)  The Thank is from the SOTM set and the you and hearts are from the Perfect Match stamp set.  Both of these cards are inspired by pattern 22 in the Make it from your Heart Volume 2 book.

Same card, slightly different take on the paper ‘ruffling’ on this one.  You can definitely see the “you” and hearts better on this one!  Just know that it’s essentially the same on the first one!

These cards turned out super cute!  They went together super fast!  And even if I did photograph them with the wrong envelopes in this last photo, they are still pretty fun!

Thanks for stopping by!  I would love it if you left some love before you hop off to Stefani’s blog!

See you later!

Sweet Safari Gift Box

Happy Thursday!  It is fun each week to show you something that isn’t a card or a layout.  Those are the ‘easy’ go to things to show off with paper, but you can do so much more with it!

Today I have this adorable gift card box for you!

I used the silver star confetti shaker bits for the inside.  (I maybe used a bit too much)

When you stand the box on it’s side, you can clearly see the message inside the shaker window!  (see what I mean about maybe a bit too much?)

One of the great things about this little box, is that it’s a die that you can run through your machine!  Makes things SUPER simple!!  It took longer to color the balloons than it did to put the rest of the box together!

January/February Catalog New Product Blog Hop

Hey Friends!  I have another post for you today!  I joined up with another blog hop to show off MORE new products!  These are all products that are available in the January/February Catalog, and I am sure that you have (or will have) seen some fantastic stuff!  For today’s hop, you may have arrived from Becca’s blog, or you may have started here, either is ok!  The hop is a big circle, so you will end up back at her blog (if you started here).  If you get lost along the way, you can find the whole list over on Melinda’s blog!

Today I have another slimline card for you!  I love the colors on today’s card!  The products go well together (haha!) and as you already know, those coffee cups just make me happy!  LOL!

The card was SUPER simple to put together, and was inspired by the retired Wishes how to book.

While I did not use the slimline card base, it was my inspiration!  I used some Espresso cardstock, White Daisy Cardstock, and the current Mix In paper packet.  I will link all of the products below!  I know that you will want to add them to your stash!

I used the lightest end of the Brown Grey TriBlend Marker to add a hint of shadow on the lid for the cups.

This card went together so quickly, it was almost scary!  Definitely an easy go to card style to add to my repertoire!

I would love to hear what you think about this card, or who you would give it to!  Leave a comment below, before you head off to Haley’s blog to see her great things!

H2H Product Challenge: Slimline Cards

Hey everyone!  Happy Monday!  Today over at H2H, our challenge is to use one of the new products that CTMH carries, Slimline cards!  Now, this card style is not new, but it has come around again in popularity.  They are so fun to make!  You may remember the one that I did some time ago, with the boy and his balloons?  I thought it turned out super cute!

Anyway, while this doesn’t necessarily give you more card space, it totally changes how and what you can do with it!  If you wanted to send a paper gift certificate or cash, this is the perfect style card for that, you won’t have to fold it or anything!

This card was sooooo fun to put together!  It uses a variety of different stamps and dies!  Can you guess what they are?  (before scrolling down to see!)  I will be doing a FB live to put this same card together at 5pm Pacific time over on my FB page.  Come and join me, and put one together yourself!

Sweet Safari

Can you believe we are already in the 3rd week of January?  That is just kind of amazing to me!  Well, this week I will be showcasing Sweet Safari!  Now, this was a paper packet that I thought I could do without.  I was wrong!  So wrong!  I have designed a few classes that I am going to do, and while I wasn’t going to be using this paper for it, this is what I ended up with!  Oh, my, goodness!  The cuteness in this paper is just so sweet!  Let’s check it out, shall we?

Technique Hop – “Striped Borders”

Welcome to the Technique Blog Hop!  This month is all about striped borders!  Today you should have arrived here from Alyson’s blog.  If not, and you started here, that’s perfect too!  It’s a circle, and you will get back to Alyson’s blog, I promise!  If you get lost along the way, you can find the whole list on Melissa’s blog.

Now . . . . I kinda shied away from the theme . . . well, more took it in a really artistic direction. . . . or something like that!  LOL!!

So, the Perfect Match Stamp set has a couple of stamps that can be used as a border, including this XOXOXO stamp.  As I inked it up, to create a nice straight line down the left side, my brain screamed at me (quite literally, I might add) to do a messy side.  So, there are first, second, third, and even fourth generation stamping images here!  Now, you won’t generally find me doing messy stuff like this.  (usually my brain fights against it, really really hard!)  But it was just the ‘right thing’ to do!  LOL!

I even repeated the look on the inside.  I used a thin strip of black cardstock to give it a nice finished look, and to give it a bit of definition.

I used a few different die sets for this card, because they are so easy and handy!  I used the Stitched Simple Brackets as well as the {retired} stitched circle and basic circle thin cuts.  The tiny little hearts are from the layout that I did on my FB live on Thursday!  So cute!

Thanks so much for stopping by on the hop!  I hope you like my little card!  Next, you are off to Haley’s blog!  Make sure to leave everyone a little love along the hop!

What’s in the box?!?

Ok, ok, I know, maybe not the best movie quote for the crafty scene, but, I’m weird like that!  hahaha!!

Thursday is Naught a card or layout day!  So, today I have another giftable bag for you!  I saw an adorable bag that Sam over at Mixed Up Craft made, and I thought it was super cute!  I thought that I could make it using the largest Hexagon dies, and it turned out SUPER cute!

I made some adjustments for sizes, from what Sam did, but this little box/bag holds SOOOOO MUCH!!

Take a look at all that I can get into this box!  Oh my goodness!!  You guys HAVE to do this!!

I can fit NINE CTMH rolls of ribbon into this box, and it still has a bit of space in it!

Grab your Hexagon thin cuts, and play with them!

The Perfect Match is LOVE

Hello friends!

Welcome back to another week of the Card Challenge!  Each week I will make a card, share a video with you on how to create it, share what challenges inspired me with the card, and ask for you to play along with me!  Wow, that was kind of a really long sentence!  LOL!!  Anyway, it was a super fun and easy card to make, I hope you love it and are inspired to do the same!

I think these cards turned out absolutely adorable!!

Head over to my FB page to watch the video and get the measurements (really, there’s only one . . . ) and the blog that I found the challenge on!  And make sure to share a photo of the card(s) that YOU are inspired to make!
