I used the sketch from Mojo Monday’s weekly challenge this week, and Sarah Barber’s kit, Fly. It was fun to play with! The card is just a little 4.25 x 4.25 card!

And today marks day 6 of 6 for my creativity! Doing awesome so far!

I know, you are thinking . . . whaaaaat??? LOL I decided to go digi today in my creating, and so went with some Christmas Tree Decorating photos! 🙂
And today makes 5/5 days of crafting! I didn’t share yesterday’s because it was just a little bit creative for my CTMH binder cover.
So, I was asked by a client to make a sign for her to be able to hang at her desk. She shares her desk with 3 other people, and this way the kids would know which was her desk. When I asked, she said she didn’t have any favorite colors or anything. She just wanted it to say “Mrs. B”. Soooo, I had a blank slate. (sometimes, that’s the hardest spot to start!) So, I started and finished it today! I am really hoping that she will like it!!
Forgive my photos, they don’t do it justice! The colors are a bit off, but I wanted to get some shots of it before I had to give it away! LOL
Items used:
Cardstocks: White daisy, vineyard berry, sweet leaf
Paper: Wings WOTG
Ribbon: Black Grosgrain
Elements: black button brads, pearl opaques, licorice opaques, itty bitty sparkles
Adhesives: liquid glass, glue dots
tools: Fiskars paper trimmer, corner rounder, paper piercing kit, micro tip scissors, silhouette
And this makes 3/3 on my craftiness every day of the year!
Teresa from Fabulously Artsy is hosting a linky party with different things made with the items in the new Brochure! Be sure to check out some of the other fab items!! And make sure to check my previous days, as I have some other cards and things made with the Wings WOTG!!
Lots of letters there! If you are new to my blog or CTMH (that’s Close to my Heart) WOTG is workshop on the go and SOTM is stamp of the month. CTMH knows that we are a busy people now days, and have so many activities to do, especially those with kids. So they put together a great kit, and called it WOTG. It has 12 papers, and 10 pieces of cardstock, a mini medley kit to embellish your pages, as well as an exclusive stamp set that you can only get with that WOTG kit. They tell you how to make a 2 page layout and 6 cards with your kit. You will have enough left over to do other projects too!! This is a GREAT value!
There is a Stamp of the Month (SOTM) every month. It is exclusive to that month, so you can’t get it after the fact. You can pay $22.95 for it, or, order more and you can get it discounted, or even free!! Yesterday I told you about the special promo that is going on in January, where you can get the SOTM even more discounted! If you have more questions, just ask!!
Today, I went and spent some time at my favorite caffeine dispensing spot, and got to see some of my favorite Baristas! I love my Starbucks! I was there about an hour and a half, and I managed to make 2 full pages (sans photos) and finish up 17 birthday cards!! I timed the layouts from the WOTG, and it took me 56 minutes!! I had no cutting done yet, no papers ‘readied’ to go. This is pulling things out of the package and going! It really is super easy! They tell you where to cut on which pieces of paper, and then the measurements on where/how to put it all together!
So, I still need to practice the photography of my layouts, but this is what I did. (it’s still sans photos, I need to figure out which ones to put in there, and get them printed)
These cards use the January SOTM and a paper from the Miracle paper pack. This was a paper pack available back in September, and a little birdie told me that you would be able to see it again in February! Shhhh!!

This marks day 2 of 365 that I did something crafty! Yaaay me!!
Remember, I have plenty of workshops available to make these beautiful layouts and/or cards!!
So, most everyone has heard about the photo 365 where you take a photo every day for a year. I tried that last year . . . I didn’t get very far! LOL But, I saw something new this year. It was called 365 project. And, while I might just be re-interpreting it . . . . I am taking a new view on it. I am going to do something crafty every day this year. It could be digi scrapping, paper scrapping, card making (paper or digi), crocheting, sewing, or something else entirely! LOL
So, with that in mind, I thought a card would be a great way to start!
So, I made a bunch of stuff for family . . and didn’t get any fancy photos of them! LOL In fact, I really didn’t get any photos at all! I did think to snap these two photos of the cards that I made for my Mother in Law for Christmas. From the sounds of her reaction, she really liked them!
These cards use the new Wings paper available NOW!! It is sooooo pretty and cute but not ‘cutesy’!
I used the January Stamp of the Month, which you can get for $22.95, 25% off, 50% off, 75% off, or even free!
I also used the brand new bohemian alphabet. There isn’t a photo up yet on the sites, but you can see it on page 11 of the Inspirations Brochure. You can look at that here: Inspirations Brochure
Close to my Heart is changing the way the idea books are done, going from 3 books per year to just 2 books. To bridge the gap between the two, we have the Inspirations Brochure. It’s the first time that there has been a mini idea book for Close to my Heart. There are some absolutely GORGEOUS pages in here, with some awesome stamps! AND! There is a way to get the January Stamp of the month FREE (***without*** spending $100!) So make sure you check that out!
Items used for cards above, all CTMH unless noted:
Cardstock/Paper: White & Vinyard Berry, Wings paper
Inks: Juniper, Sweet Leaf, Vineyard Berry
Stamps: January SOTM, Bohemien Alphabet
various: clear buttons, Juniper ribbon, liquid glass, 1 1/4 inch punch, fiskars scalloped punch
Thanks for visiting! Remember, I have lots of workshops available! I can also come and do a home party/gathering for you and some friends!
I hope all of you and your families are having a wonderful day!
My kids waited until 7:55 to come and get us up to do presents this morning. I think that’s pretty good! And you would have thought that Audrey was on crack, with the amount of spazzing that she was doing! LOL The opening of the presents was done by 8:45! LOL
Breakfast has now been eaten, all is quiet in the house with the kids playing with their new toys.
Merry Christmas from our family to yours!
I had a customer ask if I could make some little mini tablets for gifts for her co-workers. Specifically ‘no Christmas’ and use snowmen. No problem! I came up with these super adorable little note pads!
I used Country Christmas by Diamond Ink Designs for this!
It was a fun speed Scrap! (even if I did start after all the instructions were given out!! LOL
So, there’s a challenge blog that I have on my email RSS and on my FB feed. Most of the time I don’t get to participate, but this time, I decided to go for it! And this week they have what they call a piggy back challenge, which was to use no patterned paper! So I hit two challenges in one!
