November Stamp of the month Blog Hop

Hello ladies!

Welcome to the November Stamp of the Month blog hop! We have many ladies with wonderful projects! Some of those ladies are on the East Coast, and were affected by Sandy’s visit. So, there may be some blogs that aren’t showing their project yet. If that is the case, try coming back in a day or so to see if they have gotten it up.

You should have come from Erin’s blog, isn’t her card stinkin adorable??

This month’s Stamp is so much fun! There are so many things you can do with it!

Three, no FOUR(!) different number options, Two different month options, One journaling box, plus other journaling important bits!

I didn’t get a chance to get pictures up before we went trick or treating and now realize they are all blurry! I will get pics up early tomorrow!

11.1 update: Apparently my card and stamp set ran off to get married or something! They have both disappeared! Project and photos coming soon!! (I promise!)

11.3 update: I think there was a divorce! The stamp set came home, but the card is still missing and unaccounted for. I wonder if it was unhappy? I will create a new one tomorrow, after my extra hour of sleep this evening!

Please continue the blog hop, at the beginning, at Kathleen’s blog!

Thanks for stopping in, and make sure to come back, so you can see what I have come up with!

November’s special is pretty special! The constant campaign this month is, when you purchase $50, and also purchase the Stamp of the Month for just $5, not only will you then get an additional stamp (of YOUR choice) 50% off, but $1 of that set will go to the Red Cross to help those affected by Sandy’s visit. So, be sure to shop in the November Online Party on my website so that you can take advantage of this great day, and this awesome way to help!

Christmas Cards

What: Stamp a Stack
How Many? 5 cards per stack, as many stacks as you would like
When: November 3rd, 12-6 pm
Cost: $6 per stack
To bring: glue, foam tape, scissors, mini glue dots

So, lets get to the details of how it will work this year! You will be doing a ‘stack’ of cards. One stack equals 5 cards. You choose what stack you would like to do. You may make multiple stacks of the same or different cards! So, if you wanted 20 cards you could choose 4 stacks of card 1, or 1 of each stack of cards 1, 4, 7, & 11. (or whatever combination you would like) As usual for my workshops, you will have all card pieces cut and provided for you. I will also provide the stamps, ink, and some tools to use in my workshop.

Please let me know by November 2nd which cards you would like, and how many stacks of each you would like! (and make sure to check below for some other fun items!)

Shall we get to the photos of the cards? Lets! The first two are the group photos of all the cards that are available.

Christmas Tags

Now, on to the next fun thing! We all need tags for presents for the holiday season, right? Well, below are some fabulous fun choices that you will have to make! Each of the tags will have red and white bakers twine (not pictured) for you to attach to the packages. There will be some others as well, that I don’t have photos of yet, but, the good news is, you won’t have to let me know on them in advance! (unless you want to!)

Cost: $5 for 12 tags!

The other tags will use the October Stamp of the month, which is only available for the next few days! If you want to be able to make the other tags again and again, then you will want to pick up this stamp!

Special Tags

Want something a little more special for your packages? Or maybe a special ornament for the tree? Why not make one of these fabulous ornament/tags!

Coffee Tags/ornaments: 4 for $5
These little cuties are about 4 inches tall.

Rosette tag/ornament: $1 each
This gorgeous rosette is about 4 1/4 inches, not including the seam binding. This is a great vintage looking ornament/tag, that will hang perfectly from a present or tree.

Kids Workshop

What: Kids Workshop
When: November 3rd, 6-9 pm
Cost: $15
To bring: glue!

We can’t forget the kids, either! They love to give presents! And they have many people to give them to! Mom, Dad, Grandparents, Aunts, Uncles, Teachers, Bus Drivers, and more! They will be making the beautiful hex box that I posted about earlier this weekend. Their box will be white (instead of red). All items will be cut and ready for them to distress (if they would like) and glue down! You will have to provide your own glue & photos, though!

Will your kiddos want to make Christmas cards or tags? No problem at all!! Just let me know, and I will make sure to get them ready for you!

I know this will be a fun filled day, and I can’t wait to see you all there! Please be sure to let me know that you will be there, and what cards, or other projects you would like to make! I will also have some samples of some items that would make for some GREAT Christmas presents!

The Artiste in 3-D

Welcome to our The Artiste in 3D Blog Hop! There are so many fun features in our Artiste Cricut cartridge that we decided to showcase many of the 3D Objects

{click photo to get your own cartridge!}

In this hop, you will see a variety of projects featuring the 3D Object key of the Artiste but don’t worry, you won’t need special glasses to see them! (But we do hope our projects will “stand out” to you.)

If you have just hopped onto my blog, please start at the beginning at Lucy ~ Love 2 Create. If you came from Priscilla’s Blog ~ Priscilla’s Paperie then you are in the right place!

My project today is the Hex box on page 48 of the Artiste.

Isn’t it cute? I didn’t decorate the top, as I think I will do it specific to each recipient (and this one is yet to be decided).

Here, you can see it wide open! I decided to go with 3 sizes of hex box, and twist them just slightly for each size. There are spots for 30 different photos (or some combination of photos and journaling!) That’s a whole scrapbook in just one box!

This shot was a bit of a close up shot, so you can see the inside, and kind of how it works a bit better!

I tried to fold in the inner most box, so you can see that both sides of each flap have cardstock on them, and ready for photos and/or journaling! (it just didn’t want to cooperate very much!!)

I hope that you have enjoyed my little hex box! It’s been great fun in creating (and may be one of my go to gifts for Christmas!)!

I am the last stop in this hop, but if you joined in the middle, you can continue at the beginning, with Lucy ~ Love 2 Create.

Art Philosophy Blog Hop!

Welcome to our Autumn Art Philosophy Blog Hop!  Each month we are showcasing our amazing Art Philosophy Cricut cartridge which can be purchased exclusively through a Close to My Heart Independent Consultant {like me!}.

It’s the time of year where leaves are changing colors, temperatures are dropping, the days are shorter, and the holidays are quickly approaching. This month we will be featuring projects with an Autumn theme made using the Art  Philosophy Cricut cartridge!

If you just happened to come to this blog, you should start at the beginning at Lucy’s blog – Love 2 Create. If you came here from Ginger’s Blog, then you’re in the right place!

My project is this fun wine tag! I know many people will take a bottle of wine to the hostess of the party, and what a cute way to ‘pretty it up’!

I used the door hanger that can be found on page 25 of the Art Philosophy Cartridge. I used Chocolate Cardstock for the hanger and the bottom part of the acorns. I did have to cut the hole a little bit bigger with my craft knife, so that it would fit a bit better! I used Kraft cardstock for the tops of my acorns, and Autumn Terracotta for the square on the front and the card on the inside!

All of these items can be found on the Art Philosophy cartridge! So many fun things!

I am the last stop in this hop, but if you joined in the middle, you can continue to the start, with Lucy’s blog – Love 2 Create.
